How do  enter a stage From the square you click on the "enter stage" button found in the bottom right of the window. This will bring up a new screen showing a map of all the stages, as you are just starting you can only really do "stage 1" so click on this to enter the stage.

What is the campfire for The campfire is kinda the beginging of the stage. While you are at the campfire other people can enter your stage and join you in your adventure. If you hang around for a while you will see some other people join, best to follow them if you are just starting out. Once you are ready to enter the stage, smash through the giant rocks / vines to enter the stage and start the action.

What do i do to complete a stage Each stage is different, luckly the ingame messages will guide you around the stage, telling you what you need to do next.
